The Wings of Inspiration

Inspiration comes on the wings of butterflies,
Flying endlessly throughout the clear blue skies,
Their inspiration comes to you slowly, as they rest upon a log,
Then approaches you suddenly, like the sun breaking through the fog.
It nags at you relentlessly, but also makes you smile.
It helps you calm down, settles your angry wiles.
It brings your soul to ease.
It brings your muses to tease your inspiration out of your dreams.
It moves your pen or pencil, marker or crayon, and paints an awesome picture.
It makes you the awesome victor.
It puts a tortured soul to rest,
And finally leads you to your success.
